FIGUERES

Figueres, also called in Spanish Figueras, is in the north of Girona, and it is the capital of the area of the Costa Brava called Alt Empordà, in Girona, Spain.

This town is important beacuse of the worl famous Salvador Dalí, and his house Teatre-Museu Gala Salvador Dalí, which is one of the most important museums of Spain. Salvador Dali was born in this town. This is the most important thing to see there.

Figueres is an obligated stop when visiting Barcelona. Before taking the plane back to your country, you can visit Figueres. There is a bus connexion with Girona Airport, that allows to go to Figueres and come back to the airport in the same day. The bus journey between girona aiport and Figueres takes around 1h.30min.

ROSES

Roses is a municipality in the comarca of the Alt Empordà in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast at the northern end of the Gulf of Roses, and is an important fishing port and tourist centre.

EMPURIABRAVA

Empuriabrava islocated on the Costa Brava, Girona, Spain, very close to Cadaques. Empuriabrava is one of the largest marinas in the world.

Empuriabrava was originally built on a swamp, and was transformed into a bustling community of houses and markets. It is also a very popular tourist area, and holds annual festivals and parties.

Since it is situated in the Bay of Roses Empuriabrava is a very historical place. One can even take a short boat ride and visit a Greco-Roman acropolis on the shore. You can also learn to skydive at Empuriabrava aerodrome, learn to sail at one of its many sailing schools, and eat wonderful food that is a hallmark of Spain and the Catalan region.
